Awards Daily’s Ben Morris speaks with Supervising Sound Editor Robert Mackenzie about the detail that went into The Power Of The Dog’s quietest moments, which truly highlights the nuances of sound design in film.

By focusing on the detail and quiet sounds throughout the film, Mackenzie, in collaboration with Director Jane Campion, were able to broaden the perspectives of much of the character’s location and focus on the finest details – undoubtedly any sound designer’s dream.

A truly compelling and interesting article which celebrates sound and sheds light on the non-visual nuances of Netflix’s revered psychological drama.
